Tech Rocks 2001!

Tech Rocks, an annual "Battle of the Bands" assembling high tech's musically inclined from Ottawa, was hosted in June at the Corel Center's Hard Rock Cafe. While the band did not win, it was among the frontrunners. "Above all," says guitarist David Bray, "the goal was to have fun."

More importantly, since the band consists of employees at Algonquin College, a leading school of technology, the event is close to the band's heart as proceeds from the event are targeted to support human resource development through projects and programs, and will support the development and expansion of Ottawa’s technology talent pool.
